Badge detection systems - Access Control System

The classic detection systems allow to associate to a person the entry request through a badge (or a card) in which the person code is stored.
Different badge technologies exist in the market, the most successful are the following:

• Optic badges, there is a barcode printed on the badge to identify the person
• Magnetic badges, the badge has a magnetic strip with the person’s id codified in it
• Proximity badge, also known as contactless because it’s just needed to draw it close to the reader to allow the reading.
